My Story

When I discovered videography over fifteen years ago, I discovered a new form of worship. As I held the camera in my hand and used it to express myself creatively...I felt God's pleasure. Ever since, God has allowed me to use videography to invite others into worship.

For the last four years I've worked in Guatemala in video ministry, using the production stage as an opportunity to connect with the various volunteers who help me (holding microphones, lights, cameras, etc.) and invite them to weekend bible study and to church on Sunday. The documentary films we produce follow what the church is doing in Guatemala, currently with a focus on the topic of orphan care and adoption.

In my spare time, I read, take photos, write, and play pickup basketball with former members of the Guatemalan national basketball team. That's not to say I'm very good at basketball, but that the Guatemalan national team has room for improvement. ;)

Ministry Focus:

Videography, for me, is worship...and it has proven the best way for me to make disciples. Based upon Jesus' example, my ministry seeks to follow his example in two main areas:

1) Jesus walked intimately with 12 disciples, no more: In this documentary film ministry, I will be able to face the challenges of life daily with a small team who helps me film (by holding microphones, lights, cameras, etc.). As well as discipling them during the week, I invite these people into a weekend bible study, and to church on Sundays.

2) Jesus preached to the masses: The documentary films produced will focus on what the church is doing in Guatemala...a situation ripe for both the sharing of the gospel and journalistic integrity. The first documentary will feature the topic of orphan care and adoption.

Primary Prayer Request:

That God will be glorified in Guatemala.

For the 375,000 orphans in Guatemala

For the documentary to be produced on orphan care and adoption.
